Between Here and there

There is a constant motion to life that we all get caught up in. That is where I find myself in this moment. I fully realize that in about 5 weeks, I will have said goodbye to those who have played significant roles in my life in the last 5 years or more, as I have theirs. I know that they are called to serve here in some position, whether its with the high school-ers at The Village Church, or the Kindergartners at Little Village, I pray for the Crash Leader who will continue to teach the 5th graders I have had the privilege of teaching for the last 6 months. I am going to miss teaching along side of Mrs. Bethany. My friends, who have been so precious to me, I know will live life to the fullest, starting their families, growing together. I am overwhelmed, with everything that will happen to the point of tears. I know that God will do amazing things, I am continually caught up in His mercy, compassion, and power.
I have my ducks in a line for a first time in my life as far as what I am suppose to do next. By the middle of my last semester in college, at Criswell College (which I thank God that He granted me the privilege of attending for 4 years almost to the day) I knew not only what I was this summer but also for the next two years. I knew that even though I had graduated, I had not received my diploma because I still needed to complete a class. So the first thing on my agenda was to complete the class by taking a trip to Guangzhou, and write a paper on that trip. While there I met a lot of fun people, many of whom heard the gospel for the first time. Upon returning from Guangzhou, I needed to start preparing for leaving for 2 years to Central Asia. This is where I find myself. Starting the journey of saying goodbye, and the first group of people to hit me, where those that I was guaranteed to see, serve and teach, Kid's Village 5th graders. By this time, they have spent almost 4 years in this ministry, and know the answers to the questions in which I have for them however I want them to know and understand for themselves the gospel. I look forward to seeing these girls every week, and it started to hit me two weeks ago, and its starting to get harder to leave them, but I know that they too are about to leave the ministry and be promoted to the middle school ministry. The second group that I am realizing is becoming to say goodbye to is the people who have called me "Family" the people whose weddings I have been a part of, the people who have seen me as their sister, who have encouraged me, and I them.
Right now, I am learning that it is getting harder and harder to say goodbye. I know that I will return and that it will pass by, some days faster some slower, but nonetheless I still have to say goodbye.
