This past week

This past week has been adventurous. I now have a home to live in, praise! I got to go up into a village and spend some time with a loving family. The are open to spiritual conversations, and have had a lot of truth shared. Their names are Muf and Dol, they live outside the city throughout the summer in the mountains. It was quite a trip to get out to their home as we had to go up two mountains and the swtich-backs are not like the ones at home, the are steeper and quicker.

I have also moved into a home, I am now one of 8 girls my sisters are Lind, Rizzo, Mawo, Brit, Ai, Belle, and my teammate. The home was completely unfurnished, and we are still waiting on our kitchen sink. We have had to buy a Fridge, Stove/oven, and our beds. Fortunately, our supervisor had carpets from a team that left a couple months ago as well as some dishes for us to start off with.

With my "new" family, I have been to a wedding and to the a park. The wedding was not like any wedding I had been to before. There was no exchanging of vows but the bride did receive her dowry was wearing a white dress, but looked like she was at her funeral. The groom was my Bob's brother (bob is father) and that is my relation to the family and the only way I got to go the wedding. I was also introduced to a new kind of wedding feast, I think the only way I got to eat was because one of the men who was hosting saw that I was American and shoved the children and cleared a place for us to eat off a tray and drink a cola. It was more of a feeding trough than a feast. The park on the other hand was quite and I had fun swinging and taking pictures of my sisters.
