7 months and a couple of Days!
Hello world! Needless to say I am doing well. I have been on a couple of picnics and a couple of other excursions. As I may have told you I live on a dirt country road. When it rains here that dirt country road turns into mud, sometimes sticky sometimes slick, sometimes just straight up fun. Because the road is like this, and I got the "I can conquer any mud" attitude. But wait a second I drive a 2010 Kia Soul, something not built for the mud that it tends to handle. Anyways this fact a side, I was driving to meet some students for lunch with a partner in crime and took a detour. The detour started out being the best decision because the road was newly paved and as smooth as the roads are back home. However when it came for me to turn off this road and onto the next street there was a huge dirt pile blocking the WHOLE road. I guess this is what they call a road block here a mound of dirt about 10 feet high. So I made another detour, onto some dirt, near a building, and saw that the dirt, the dirt became mud and the mud was not scary. But the mud got thicker, I continue to drive until I got STUCK! In five inches of mud and could not get out! It took a total of 9 men a truck, a F-350, and 4 police men in 3 hours. Mud was everywhere on the car, the truck, my feet and clothes. But needless to say I had fun pushing the cars with the guys, being shameful but wanting to help the mess that I made.
