December is Here

Right now I am listening to the Charlie Brown Christmas Soundtrack, being reminded of the things I love most about this season. The cold weather, the big jackets, hats, scarves, and mittens. When I was living in Minnesota, going to the ice rink and skating, being mesmerized by the holiday lights and snow. Here I am anxiously awaiting to see people's reaction to a fake tree being the center of living room instead of a TV, to share with them the reason for all of the festivities that we have.
Life this week has taken a couple changes, after being taught how to say, "Stop talking about that." My teammates and I found out that our language helper is reading as she told us a story she had read, but not only is she reading but two of her siblings are also reading.
I am still awaiting that long expected rain to come, the buildings are getting colder and the sun is still out to warm up in during the day. The family downstairs uses a kerosene heater when there is not public power so I have already had a fair share of kerosene fumes, but its warmth.
