Where have I been

So let me apologize, first for the LONG delay. You see I am on a 3g network majority of the time which is serviced by these flash drive type things that are just SO reliable (sarcasm) and I finally went to the market today and bought a new one. So this is why in the last three weeks I have not posted a new blog. Second thing I need to apologize for is my lack of communication both with you the reader, my team members, and those who are like minded. I have not been a good steward of what I have been given, I have checked out of this place that I am living, forgotten every reason why I am here. After some good time of asking J why he calls me here, what is the purpose that I have here, why is it that He called me here, HE told me because HE wants these people to call HIS name. It has been hard. I got called out on why aren't you learning the language, where are you? Disciplined for it, and am repenting and am asking that you help keep me accountable to that. Third apology to those who I should be communicating with on a regular basis and am not. I am sorry, I never have been good at talking and expressing my ideas. I want to blame it on the fact that when I was younger when I did, people talked about me behind my back. But that is not excuse, I need to tell you when HE isn't talking to me, when HE is what He is saying. I need to tell you what I did today where I was, who I was with, what they talked about and what truth I was able to share with them. I need to tell you that I do love you, and appreciate every way you have supported me in the last 7 months, as you all have been the reason as to how I have gotten to where I am.

Things that have happened. I have a new language helper, Jammie, she is a sweetheart. When I first met her, she was very shy, just like myself. And it was good to hear about her family and get the approval of my old language helper (who actually found her for me) my teammate and a brother here. We have had many conversations so far, the most recent being about the Wedding Feast of the Lamb, brought about because of my tattoo. Tattoo's on women in general are shameful but some of the women from the villages have dots on their faces from tattoo's that they have mix breast milk and some sot from the bread ovens as the ink and take a needle and put a dot on their chin. They say that the dark circle is from the breast milk when you have a boy and if it is green from the breast milk when you have a girl, (like that makes a difference). Ask that these conversations will continue to happen and that I will have the language to continue in them. I am also asking that my English students will start asking more questions.

As far as other stuff, I am trying to be a better steward. Digging up the talent that I have buried, and finding a way to use it that will give glory to HIM who deserves it.
