"Let's go!" Now the question is where to? I have loved India for a LONG time, but now the passion has left. Am I still suppose to go? Or am I suppose to stay with the oppressed here? That seems so odd to think of USA having oppressed people, but it is true. We are oppressed by the idea to get anything we want at the touch of a button and no body better stand in my way. Currently I am living in a community where we do have meals together, where we do live together, where Christ is the center and the cross is the only thing we hold onto. The guys are actively invovled in a Chinese Church in Plano teaching the youth there. They have been talking with a mission organization called Servants for Asia which sets up intentional communities in the slums of the cities of Asia. We have found out that there is an opportunity to go to China in 2010. I love these guys, I really do but I am not so sure that I am called to go. I am tearing up as I say this. I don't want to go anywhere because I do not feel called to be anywhere other than here. I have wanted to go to India and either live in the slums, but that did not last to long. I have wanted to go to India and start a school, but the type of school that I would want to start will not get approved by the government so the only way that I could get in is to teach english which is exactly what I don't want to do anymore. I know to much about the Kingdom and what it means to a disciple that I can't go into a foriegn country and teach english as the primary reason why I am there.
So am I suppose to go, its looking more and more as a no. Is the Open Door suppose to go, two members certainly are suppose to go. As for myself I do not know.
